SFX Creation & Sync
This school-based project involved creating game sound effects using a provided video excerpt as reference. I sourced sounds from libraries and applied layering, EQ, and effects processing to design cohesive SFX. For the monster, I aimed to convey a sense of bulk by layering low-frequency elements into the footsteps, and enhanced its attacks with weighted, arcing sounds to suggest heavy projectiles. To achieve a spore-like quality, I added sweeping textures to represent particles emitted during attacks. For the main character, I layered recordings of small metal objects to mimic the movement of armour
